A projector, as you have learned, is Director's term for an executable. So far you've use Director's Publish feature to create quick test projectors. In this lesson you'll learn the details of creating projectors, how to package (or not package) Xtras, and even create cross-platform projectors. Prior to the release of Director MX 2004 you had to own separate Macintosh and Windows versions of Director in order to create projectors for each platform. In Director MX 2004, you can create a Windows projector on the Mac, and you can create OSX projectors from Windows.
