Tint
Apply Tint to create a duotone using a color of your choice. You can optionally preserve some of the original colors of the image, while applying the overall tint.
Open the picture for editing, click the Effects tab, and click the Tint icon.[View full size image]
To accept the default tint color (white), adjust the Color Preservation slider to indicate the amount of original colors to retain, and then click Apply.[View full size image]
Otherwise, to select a different tint color, adjust the Color Preservation slider (if desired). Then click in the Pick Color box to set the initial tint shade.
To preview the effect of different colors, drag the eyedropper over the color picker or the color hexagons. As you drag, the picture's tint automatically changes to reflect the new color. Click a color hexagon or a spot on the color picker to set the color.[View full size image]
The Step 2 screen reappears.
Make a final adjustment to the Color Preservation slider, if necessary.
Click Apply to apply the chosen Tint settings to the image, or click Cancel if you've changed your mind.
