The Classification of Religious Knowledge

The knowledge of the religion of Islam has been classified as
follows:

1 UsooI-e-deen, the fundamental roots and basis of the
religion;
2 Fur-e-deen, the articles of the practice of the faith.

In the following pages I will deal only with the first, the
Usool-e-
deen, the basis of Islam.
