In this chapter, you learn the functional aspects and configuration of the transport and tunneling of WAN protocols over Layer 2 Tunnel Protocol Version 3 (L2TPv3). Building on Chapter 5, "WAN Data-Link Protocols," and Chapter 10, "Understanding L2TPv3," this chapter presents the configuration, verification, and troubleshooting of High-Level Data Link Control (HDLC), PPP, Frame Relay, and ATM protocols over L2TPv3.
