Overview
Getting a picture into your layout is one thing, but adjusting that graphic to make it really work in your layout is quite another. In almost every case, you'll want to manipulate the pictures you bring into your layout — change the size, crop out part of the image, wrap text around the image, and perhaps change the image color or distort its appearance.The modifications you make will depend on your layout needs and the attributes of the pictures themselves. But no matter what modifications you end up making, you'll find yourself regularly using the techniques covered in this chapter.
