Publishing the Draft and Reviewing the Page
Contribute saves what you've done so far as a draft of the Dante site's home page, stored on your hard drive. No one can see the new changes yet. You'll need to publish the updated page.Before publishing the draft, Contribute allows you to preview it in a browser or obtain approval or feedback from others. If you wish, you can choose to publish it at a later time or cancel the draft.In this section, you'll learn how to publish the updates you just made and make the page live.
| 1. | Click the Publish button in the main menu to publish the draft. Contribute displays a pop-up window, indicating that the page has been successfully published to the Web site. |
Contribute replaces the existing page with the updated version.
| 2. | Click OK to complete the publishing process. Contribute switches back to browse mode. |
In the browser mode, review the changes you've made.
