Preparing the Second and Third Screens
In this task, you'll import into the proper layers the screen elements common to the second and third screens. The task is more or less a repetition of what you did in the previous task, both in terms of what you're doing and why. The second and third screens share some of the same assets as the first screen: the logo and the slogan, for example. You will again have an image on screens 2 and 3, though with different orientation. In addition, you'll import appropriate text for each screen and insert a gray horizontal line as a visual divider.
1. | Click Frame 47 of the photos layer. Choose Modify > Timeline > Convert to Blank Keyframes. |
This step inserts a blank keyframe. Remember, use a keyframe any time you want the contents on the stage to change, whether you're adding, relocating, or removing something. By inserting a blank keyframe, you effectively remove any content from this layer that precedes Frame 47, and yet the graphic remains on the stage for Frames 1 through 46, where it belongs.

2. | Repeat Step 1 to insert blank keyframes into Frame 47 of the logo, text What is it, and text Organic farming layers . |
When you're finished with this step, only a blank stage is visible in Frame 47.

You'll continue to use the logo, Organic Farming text, and What is it? text from the previous screen, but they'll be in different positions on the final two screens. Now that these keyframes are created, you can put the correct content into them.
The Organic Farming and What Is It? text make up Jade Valley's slogan. Rather than recreate them in the second and third screens, we'll simply copy them over from the first screen.
3. | Click Frame 1 of the text Organic farming layer. Using the Selection tool, select the Organic Farming text. Choose Edit > Copy . |

4. | Click Frame 47 of the text Organic farming layer. Choose Edit > Paste in Center . |
You could also have chosen Paste in Place. It doesn't matter where it's pasted on the stage, as long as it's in the right frame and layer. You'll now reposition it to the upper right-hand corner.
5. | Using the Selection tool, click and drag the pasted text to the upper right-hand corner of the screen. If you'd like to place it more precisely, use the Property inspector to set its X value to 252 and its Y value to 10 . |
Now you can move the What Is It? text. It would have been convenient to just copy the Organic Farming text and the What Is It? text and bring them over together, but they exist on separate layers, so they must be copied separately.
6. | Repeat steps 35 to copy the contents of Frame 1 of the text What is it layer to Frame 47. Move it to the upper-right corner below and slightly to the left of the Organic Farming text. If you'd like to place it more precisely, use the Property inspector to set its X value to 395 and its Y value to 33 . |
