Designing a Button Graphic
You'll need a way for users to move between screens, so it's time to create some navigation for the movie. You'll draw an arrow with triangles as a navigation button. The vector drawing tools in Flash are sufficient for the graphics you'll create here. There are a few ways to go about this, and you should experiment.
1. | Click Frame 47 of the button layer. Choose the Pencil tool. At the bottom of the Tools panel you'll find the Options for this tool. Choose Object Drawing . |
The other option determines what Flash will do with the line you'll draw. Choose straighten. To the right of your squash photo, draw a triangle with one corner pointing to the right. Hold down the Shift key for the vertical line, and Flash will ensure that it's perfectly vertical.

2. | Choose the Paint Bucket tool. Click the Fill Color in the Colors section of the Tools panel and choose a shade of green. Click your triangle to apply the color to it . |
The triangle now has a green fill.To complete the button graphic, you'll make a duplicate of your triangle. Depending on your method for drawing the triangle, you might have a single element or several. Grouping items holds them together as a single element. You should group your triangle before duplicating it.

4. | Select the Text tool and type next to the left of the two triangles. Use the Property inspector to format the text block's various attributes: Arial, italic, 14, green. Place the text and triangles in the bottom-right corner . |
