create an opening title

Let's start by adding an opening title to your project.

Premiere Elements opens the Title Designer displaying the video at the Current Time Indicator. I wanted my opening title to combine a picture of my daughter and a Premiere Elements Template, so before creating the title, I dragged an image to the start of the timeline.

The outer box is called Action Safe, which you can ignore when creating your titles.
