.Pass-pilgrimage (Haj)
If the performance of Haj becomes obligatory (wajib) on a person in his life- time, and he does not perform it, then he shall be stopped at this pass. It is stated that during death it will be said unto him "You have died the death of a jew or a christian. You are not associated with Islam". It is said in the Qur'an, "And pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) everyone who is able to undertake the journey to it, and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above any need of the world". (Surah-al-Aale Imraan : 96)
