Who This Book Is For

We make a few assumptions from the outset in this book. Obviously, we expect that you'll know your way around some newer version of the Windows operation system, but we also expect you'll know a fair amount about Visual Basic as well.

The chapters are written assuming that you can create VB projects, lay out forms, and handle most of VB's general syntax. That's not to say that you must be an expert in Visual Basic to use this bookthings will just make a lot more sense if you have a knowledge of the basics. In fact, after you get your feet wet with Visual Basic, there's no reason you can't continue to learn in the Windows CE world rather than the desktop world.
