part three

allah's messengers to people

guides for people

all of us were once small and weak babies. we could not walk. we could not
speak. our parents taught us these things.

when we started school, we did not know how to read and write. our teachers
guided us till we learned how to read and write.

also, in the same way, the prophets are the guides of the people.

god has sent prophets so that they would teach the people how to worship
god, to do good deeds and to show them the correct way of living.

the prophets are the guides of the people!

the great prophets

god has sent for the guidance of people a great many prophets. the greatest
of them are five:

1. prophet noah (peace be upon him)

2. prophet abraham (p. b. u. h.)

3. prophet moses (p. b. u. h.)

4. prophet jesus (p. b. u. h.)

5. prophet muhammad (p. b. u. h.)

the followers of prophet moses are called jews.

the followers of prophet jesus are called christians.

the followers of prophet muhammad are called muslims.

the rank of prophet muhammad is much higher than the rank of any of the other
prophets, because the laws of guidance that allah sent to mankind through
him in the form of a glorious book, the holy qur'an, will be eternal and
no body can change them; therefore, after him there will come no other prophets.

we muslims respect and believe in all of the prophets.
