wudu
(purification)
zahra and saeed are sister and brother. they both rise early in the morning
before sunrise and prepare themselves for prayer (salat).
for prayer, you must be clean and have the required wudu. saeed and zahra,
before making wudu wash their hands with clean water.
they clean their mouth and nostrils with water. then they make wudu in the
following way:
first, they wash their face from top to bottom completely with water. then,
they wash their right arm from the elbow to the tip of fingers.
next, they wash their left arm in the same way. then with their right hand,
they wipe the front of their head.
finally, with their right hand they wipe their right foot and with their
left hand wipe their left foot. after they have done all this they will now
be ready for prayer.
whoever prays must always be clean.
