Diagrams are a cross between graphics and tables. On one hand their graphical nature draws people in, and on the other they present text information. Whenever you have text to present and want something a little less ordinary, try a diagram. (If you have numbers to present, you might consider a graph, which I'll cover in Chapter 11.)
