Which Charting Tool to Use?
Microsoft Graph is an integrated utility that comes with PowerPoint for creating charts. It is technically a separate application from PowerPoint, but it works so closely with PowerPoint that it seems like it is all one thing.Note | Chart or Graph? In this chapter, the terms are synonymous. Microsoft itself even wavers as to the proper terminology. The utility for creating them is Microsoft Graph, but within Microsoft Graph the graphs are called charts. The Help system also uses "chart." |
People who are familiar with the charting functionality of Excel will find Microsoft Graph familiar, as it's a somewhat stripped-down version of the same Chapter 6.
