Strategies for an Effective Artwork Management System
The Clip Organizer can be a very useful tool, but the default settings aren't always the best. Here are some tips for making the most of the Clip Organizer:You aren't stuck with the folder structure shown on the Collection List. Within the My Collections group you can create any structure you want. You might even create a whole new set of categories, copy the appropriate clips into them, and then delete most or all of the automatically generated folders.
Suppose, you have several clips with the same artwork style and you want to be able to locate them as a group in the future. Assign the same keyword to all of them. Establish a consistent naming system for sorting clips according to artwork style. For example, you might want to start the style-sorting keywords with "style" as in style-line, style-block, style-sketch, and so on.
