Chapter 13
Administering a Security Configuration
About This Chapter
Security settings define the security-relevant behavior of the system. Through
the use of group policy objects (GPOs) in Active Directory, administrators can centrally apply the security levels required to protect enterprise systems. Local GPOs can also be used to apply security to nonenterprise and workgroup
systems. This chapter provides details on using security settings to determine
a system's security configuration.
