The MySQL Administrator's Guide is made up of those sections in the MySQL Reference Manual (available online in several formats and languages at http://www.mysql.com) that focus on the SQL language used to perform database queries in MySQL. It covers language structure, functions and operators, column types, and SQL statement syntax.The original MySQL Reference Manual was written by Michael "Monty" Widenius and David Axmark, and it is currently maintained by the documentation team in the MySQL development department.These members of the documentation team helped produce this book: Paul DuBois, Stefan Hinz, and Arjen Lentz.
