When you're typing, you want to avoid using ALL CAPS because not only is it harder to read than lowercase, but it takes up too much space and it gives the impression you're shouting. If at some point you discover that EVERYTHING YOU TYPE IS IN ALL CAPS, you probably accidentally hit the "caps lock" key. It's on the left side of your keyboard, above the Shift key. Just tap it one more time to turn off the caps lock.
