The tip of the pointer
The only part of the pointer that has any power is the very tip, called the hot spot. When you need the pointer to activate something, be sure that the extreme point of the arrow is positioned in the area you want to affect.For instance, in the exercises on the following pages you will click in the little red button of a window. Be sure to position the pointer like so:
