Previewing Documents
The Print dialog enables you to create and view previews of your documents. You might want to use this feature to check the appearance of a document before printing it.
To preview a document
1. | Set options as desired in the Print dialog's panes. |
2. | In any pane of the Print dialog (Figure 36 ), click the Preview button. The Print dialog disappears and Mac OS opens Preview. A moment later, the document appears in a Preview window (Figure 63 ).Figure 63. The Preview button displays the document in a Preview window. 3. | When you're finished previewing the document, you have three options:

Chapter 8 . The Save dialog is covered in Chapter 7 .Some applications, such as Microsoft Word, include a Print Preview command on their File menu. This displays a preview of the document from within the application and does not use Preview.
