Enhancing System Security
The Security preferences pane (Figures 59 and 61 ) offers additional options for enhancing security on your computer. Here's how you can use them to make your computer more secure.
Tip- You must be logged in as an administrator to change Security preferences pane settings.
To set system security options
| 1. | Choose Apple > System Preferences (Figure 1 ) or click the System Preferences icon in the Dock. |
| 2. | Click the Security button to display the Security preferences pane (Figure 59 or 61 ). |
| 3. | Set options in the bottom half of the window as desired:
