System Profiler
The System Profiler application provides information about your computer's hardware, software, network, and logs. This information can come in handy when you are troubleshooting problems or just need to know more about the hardware and software installed on your computer.
Tips- System Profiler was known as Apple System Profiler and had a different interface in previous versions of Mac OS X.Clicking the More Info button in the About This Mac window (Figure 86 ) launches System Profiler.

To view system information
| 1. | Open the System Profiler icon in the Utilities folder (Figure 1 ). |
| 2. | In the Contents list of the System Profiler window, click the type of information you want to view (Figures 87 through 89 ). Figure 87, 88, & 89. | 3. | The information appears in the window. |
