In this chapter, we saw that testing EJBs with Cactus is a straightforward process. Cactus offers a comprehensive framework for testing J2EE components. With Cactus, we are guaranteed consistent results by running our tests within the same execution environment as our container. In addition, the Cactus-Ant integration helps automate testing, thus lessening the burden of building, deploying, and running the tests as well as having to manually start and stop the container.
