Tagged TextThe InDesign Tagged Text format is similar to Text Only, except that codes are written into the text to identify how the characters and paragraphs will be formatted (see Figure 60-1). This format lets you interchange text among InDesign documents without losing any formatting (useful when copy and paste isn't available, like when having to e-mail a formatted text story to someone). You can also produce formatted text in any text-editing software and then place the formatted version into an InDesign document. Figure 60-1.
