To change a paragraph indent



Select the paragraph you want to change.



On the Outlining toolbar, click the Promote or Demote button.

To undo and redo actions that you recently performed



On the Standard toolbar, click the Undo or Redo button.

On the Standard toolbar, click the down arrow next to the Undo or the Redo button.



Click the actions you want to undo or redo.

To rearrange slides in an outline



Position the four-headed arrow over the slide icon for the slide you want to move.



Drag the slide icon to a new location.

To rearrange paragraphs in an outline



Position the four-headed arrow over the bullet paragraph you want to move.



Drag the text line to a new location or click the Move Up or Move Down button.

To insert an outline developed in another program into a presentation



Click the area where you want to insert the file.



On the Insert menu, click Slides from Outline.



Navigate to the location of the file and click it.



Click Insert.

To send a presentation outline to Word



On the File menu, point to Send To, and then click Microsoft Word.



Select the appropriate option, and then click OK.

To save a presentation in Word as an outline



On the File menu in the Word window, click Save As.



In the File name box, type a name for the outline.



Navigate to the folder in which you want to save the outline.



Click Save.

To export text from a presentation so it can be imported to another program



On the File menu, click Save As.



In the Save As dialog box’s File name box, type a name for the outline.



Click the down arrow to the right of the Save as type box, and then click Outline/RTF.



Navigate to the folder in which you want to save the outline.
