To apply an animation scheme to a slide



Click the Slide Sorter View button, and then click the slide to which you want to add the animation scheme.



On the Slide Show menu, click Animation Schemes.



In the Apply to selected slides area of the Slide Design task pane, click the scheme you want to apply.

To animate text in a slide



Display the slide in Normal view.



On the Slide Show menu, click Custom Animation.



Click the text, and in the Custom Animation task pane, click Add Effect.



Choose the animation options you want to apply.

To choose the animation effect order



Display the slide.



In the Custom Animation task pane, click the down arrow to the right of the animated item in the Animation Order list, and then click Effect Options.



Click the Text Animation tab, choose the animation order, and then click OK.

To apply a transition effect



Click the Slide Sorter View button.



On the Slide Show menu, click Slide Transition.



Under Apply to selected slides, scroll down, and then click the transition effect you want to apply.

On the Slide Show menu, click Slide Transition.



Click the down arrow to the right of the Sound box, and then click the sound you want to apply.

To insert sound into a slide



Display the slide into which you want to insert sound.



On the Insert menu, point to Movies and Sounds, and then click Sound from Clip Organizer.



In the Clip Art task pane, scroll down the Results list, and then click the sound you want to insert.



Choose whether you want the sound to play automatically in the slide show or when clicked.

To insert a movie clip



Display the slide into which you want to insert the movie.



On the Insert menu, point to Movies and Sounds, and then click Movie from Clip Organizer.



In the Clip Art task pane, scroll down the Results list, and then click the movie clip you want to add.

To insert a movie from a file



Display the slide into which you want to insert the movie.



On the Insert menu, point to Movies and Sound, and then click Movie from File.



Navigate to the folder in which the movie file is stored ,and then double-click the file.

To play a movie in a slide



Double-click the movie object.

To modify a movie’s animation settings



Display the slide that contains the movie.



Right-click the movie object, and then click Edit Movie Object.



In the Movie Options dialog box, select the movie play options and the total playing time of the movie.



Click OK to close the Movie Options dialog box.

To record a narration



On the Slide Show menu, click Record Narration.



Click OK.



Use the rehearsed slide timings, or click to advance through the slide show and add voice narration (your own explanation of the slides) as you go.



Right-click anywhere on the screen, and then click Pause Narration.



Right-click anywhere on the screen, and then click Resume Narration.



Right-click anywhere on the screen, and then click End Show.



Click Save.

Click the sound icon, and then press [DEL].
