Previewing Forms
You can use InfoPath’s preview feature to test the functionality and appearance of your form before you make it available for users to fill out. However simple your form, you should make it a habit to preview your forms before you deploy them.Preview is interactive and provides a simple way for you to test your form without leaving design mode. When you choose Preview Form, the form opens in a new window, where you can test it by entering data into controls.Check on the features you have added, including:Formatting

The Preview Window
When you are working in design mode, you can open the preview window by clicking the Preview Form button on the Standard toolbar or by choosing File→Preview Form. When you preview a form, a preview window opens on top of the design mode window. This window contains a simulation of your form, so that you can see not only how it looks but also how it acts when you fill it out.“Preview” appears in window title bar to let you know that you are in the preview window, and if you open a series of preview windows, they are numbered sequentially. Some menu commands are disabled because you are simulating user interaction rather than working on a regular form.
Using Sample Data
In addition to previewing a form, you can also use sample data to quickly test the appearance of your form. Sample data is placeholder text generated by InfoPath that appears in controls on your form. It shows an example of how text will appear in the control when a user fills it out. In design mode, choose View→Sample Data to toggle the view.Another way to use sample data is when you make changes to a published template. In this event you need to confirm that the update doesn’t cause errors to existing XML data. To preview one of these existing forms with the modified form template, choose File→Preview Form→With data file and open an XML data file to continue your tests.
