Trimming Transitions
You trim the overall length of a transition in the Timeline; this is a separate task from trimming the clips you use in the transition.This process is fairly easy and painless, but trimming the clips underneath the transition is somewhat more complex, as you'll see momentarily.
To trim a transition
- Grab the mark-in or mark-out point of the transition and drag it whichever way you want (Figure 8.26 ).
