Working with Classic Filters


As with Classic transitions, Classic filters are the old non-Realtime filter from previous incarnations of Liquid Edition. You need to render themin the backgroundbefore you can view them, which should put them at an immediate disadvantage. But because you can find several very interesting non-Realtime filters within the Classic collection, they are still used by editors everywhere (Figure 9.45 ).

Full-screen mode


One clear advantage of using a Classic filter is the full-screen mode. You can toggle this on by clicking the Full-Screen Mode button , which allows the Classic Editor to completely take over the screen (Figure 9.46 ).You can return to normal size by clicking the Full-Screen Mode button a second time.
