Technical Tools and Capabilities

Deployment of portals, video, and search functionality means user-friendly access to e-communication. For example, management can use video for policy updates, product updates, or executive announcements.

Portals offer a thematic selection of content relevant to a subject matter, topic, or learner group. Portals provide users easy access to content that is organized and managed thematically. Video and other presentation tools enable learners to access content anytime-anywhere across an organization. If content is available, learners should be able to find and retrieve that content through robust search tools.

In the case of PEC, the ease of access to product updates and presentations via the portals is evident among employees in reseller organizations. When employees in these reseller organizations face a certification or exam deadline, the PEC serves a source of learning content for anytime-anyplace access.
