Chapter 13. Building an Internet Learning Solution

Organizations have the option to build their own Internet learning architecture. In large-scale organizations or for application service providers, the economies of scale would justify such an investment into a solution and services architecture to meet the needs of internal and external learners. A comprehensive Internet learning solution architecture can be conceptually categorized into three groups: access tools, the learning applications, and the underlying network infrastructure. (See Figure 13-1.)
