al-Din Mohammad bin Ibrahim Shirazi
(Sadr-Almote-alehin) was a philosopher of
Safavids period. He went to Isfahan after his
fathers death and studied with Sheikh Bahaie
and Mirdamad. This wise scientist lived in a
village near Qom. He was honored to go on
pilgrimage to Mecca several times and died
in 1050, when he returned from his seventh
travel. Molla Sadra Shirazi was a credit to the
Safavids period. He has expressed the most
important and largest knowledge points in
Arabic language with the best way and a fluent
style. His most important works in Arabic
language are: Four Journeys, Explanation of
Kaffis Principles, Al-Hedayat Book, Explanation
of Hekmat Al-Ashraq
