Even if Bin Laden is killed and the Al Qaeda is destroyed, the sense of vengeance of thousands of their next of kin will be provoked and each of them will be a potential nucleus for the formation of another Al Qaeda. As Ariel Sharon has not succeeded in his iron fist policy, the US will not gain any fruit from its militarism either. It should be borne in mind that the way to a peaceful approach is blocked in such movements. The question that occurs to mind is: reconciliation and negotiation with whom, which group and which government? On the other hand, the US refrains from studying or disclosing the reasons of these co-called terrorist movements, for these reasons are closely related to the public hatred against the US, which in turn stems from the US arrogant policies. Indeed the solution lies in the condemnation of, and fundamental changes, in US policies. In other words, the solution lies in the rejection of the existing hegemonic system and its policies. Hence a close end to this struggle is unlikely. So long as the US insists on its expansionist policies with reliance on its superior economic and military muscle, the international conditions will become more critical and the end of this war will be materialized only through the defeat of US political system or its disintegration.
