1. | With Fill activated in the toolbox, select Basics Green as foreground color in the Swatches palette. |
2. | Set Stroke to None in the toolbox. |
3. | Select the Rectangle tool in the toolbox and click once at the top left corner of the bleed guides.

4. | In the Rectangle dialog box enter 270 pt as Width and 30 pt as Height. When done correctly, this rectangle should extend to the right edge of the bleed area and overlap the top of the document by 21 points.

5. | Switch to, or start, Illustrator, and open the file basics logo.ai, if it's not still open. |
6. | With the Selection tool, click the Basics Blue flower symbol in the top right corner of the document, and choose Edit > Copy. |
7. | Switch back to InDesign. |
8. | Choose Edit > Deselect All if the rectangle is still selected, and then choose Edit > Paste. |
