When you work in video production, you know the importance of creating documents that will perfectly match the requirements of output to a video screen. The preset file sizes available in the new Preset menu let you create images at a size and pixel aspect ratio that compensate for scaling when you incorporate them into video. The presets also define, using non-printing guides, (the action and title areas of the document). When you work with the new Preset menu, the guesswork of creating compatible, NTSC, PAL, or even HDTV documents in Photoshop is a thing of the past.
File menu, and then click
New .
Preset list arrow, and then select from the available video presets:
NTSC DV 720x480 (with guides)
