When you make a change to an inherited property in a table's Design view, you can opt to propagate that change to the controls on your reports that are bound to that field. Here's how it works:
Open the table whose design you want to modify in Design view.
Click in the field whose property you want to change.
Click in the property whose value you want to change.
Change the property and press Enter. If the property that you changed is inheritable, the Property Update Options button appears (see Figure 10.8).
Open up the menu and select Update (see Figure 10.9). The Update Properties dialog appears (see Figure 10.10). Select the forms and reports that contain the controls that you want to update. Click Yes to complete the process.
