IN THIS CHAPTER
So far, we have been moving data with name/value pairs, static XML documents, or with server-side programming and LoadVars. This chapter will change all that by opening your eyes to the world of web services.
We will go over what web services are and why you use them, as well as how to create them and how to tie into them using Flash 8. We will finish up by creating an application to search the web for DVDs using the Amazon.com API.
