Monitoring Access to Network Resources

This chapter prepares you to monitor network resources. You will learn about the Computer Management and the Shared Folders snap-ins and how to use them to view and create shares. You will also learn how to use them to view sessions and open files and how to use it to disconnect users from your shared folders.

Before You Begin

To complete this chapter, you must have

• A computer that meets or exceeds the minimum hardware requirements listed in "Hardware Requirements."
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional installed on the computer.
