In this chapter, we've given the Linux newbie a short, intense lesson in how to get, install, and use the basics of Linux. The main purpose is to give guidance on setting up a Linux box as a webserver and to touch on the decisions that have to be made when installing a Linux operating system. We hope it wasn't too painful.
