In this chapter you were introduced to the XPath processor that is included in the Oracle XDK 10g C/C++ library. You used it to build a simple yet powerful XPath data-extraction application that can be used as a basis for broader content-management tasks, as described. You also used the new C++ template architecture for the XML interfaces that replaces the older ones in oraxml.h from Oracle9i.
