In this chapter, we used a driving directions example to illustrate how to build mobile facades and clients for MapPoint Web Services. The techniques we discussed in this chapter could be used to build general location-based applications on MapPoint Web Services. We also explored general topics in location-based services, such as alternative location determination technologies and the J2ME Location API. |
