SAFE is a guide for implementing security on the enterprise network. It is not meant to serve as a security policy for any enterprise networks, nor is it meant to serve as the all-encompassing design for providing full security for all existing networks. Rather, SAFE is a template that enables network designers to consider how they design and implement an enterprise network in order to meet their security requirements.
