Bookmark Your Favorite Feeds

There are at least four ways to bookmark a feed you want to keep track of. Before you bookmark, though, you might plan how to organize your feeds into categories, each category in a separate folder, or Collection, in the Bookmarks Library (see page 353). This makes it easy to view just the feeds for a certain interest. Or create a folder for an eclectic collection of headlines in a number of your favorite interests so you will have your own customized "newspaper."

If you plan to categorize your bookmarks, first make folders in the Collections pane in the Bookmarks Library (click the plus sign at the bottom of the pane, then rename the folder).

To bookmark a feed, do one of the following:

    If you find a link to

    RSS or

    XML on a web page, Control-click on it (or right-click). From the menu that appears, choose "Add Link to Bookmarks…." Be sure to give it a name that will describe what it is.
