Cut
How to Cut:
Select first, then do it. Remember, whatever you cut will disappear from the document.
The text is selected and ready to be cut.
The text has been cut. All that's left is the insertion point. Exercise 8:
Cut some text.
1. | Select the text you wish to remove from the document (press-and-drag over the text). | 2. | From the Edit, menu choose "Cut." The text will be eliminated from your document and placed on the Clipboard. Now you can paste it somewhere; see the following pages. |
