If you depend on your Address Book, be sure to back it up. Apple makes it easy to do this: Just go to the File menu and choose "Back up Address Book…." This puts a file in your Documents folder called "Address Book" and the date, as shown to the left. Copy this file onto a disk or save it to your iDisk for later retrieval. |
To restore your Address Book as it was the last time you backed it up, go to the File menu and choose "Revert to Address Book Backup…." In the dialog box that opens, you can search for and choose the file you backed up earlier, as explained above.
