The Flights channel (Figure 35 ) enables you to get departure and arrival information for airline flights. Enter search criteria in the top of the window and Sherlock displays results from a database of flights. This is handy for checking the status of a flight you think might be delayedit could prevent you from waiting longer than you need to at the airport!
The Flights channel provides information about current day flights only.
1. | Open the Flights channel (Figure 35 ). |
2. | Enter search criteria in the top part of the window, right beneath the toolbar. |
3. | Click the magnifying glass button to start the search. |
4. | After a moment, search results begin to appear. Click a flight to get information about it (Figure 36 ). Figure 36. Sherlock displays information about a flight when you select it. |
In step 4, if a check mark appears in the Chart column for a flight, a graphic of the flight's position and weather appears in the bottom right of the window (Figure 36 ). Is this cool or what?
