To prepare a presentation for use on another computer using Package for CD
On the File menu, click Package for CD.
In the Name the CD box, type the name of your presentation, and click Options.
Select the Embedded TrueType fonts check box, and click OK.
Click Copy to Folder, click Browse, navigate to the folder that contains the presentation, and click Select.
When you return to the Copy to Folder dialog box, click OK, and then click Close to close the Package for CD dialog box.

To start a slide show with a particular slide
Select the slide in Normal or Slide Sorter view, and then click the Slide Show button.

To move to the next slide or previous slide
Press the [ →] key or the [ ←] key.
Click the Next button or the Previous button on the popup toolbar that appears when you move the mouse during a slide show.
Right-click the screen, and click Next or Previous on the shortcut menu.

To jump to a slide that is out of sequence or hidden
Click the Navigation button on the popup toolbar that appears when you move the mouse during a slide show, click Go to Slide, and click the slide on the submenu.
Right-click the screen, click Go to Slide, and then click the slide on the submenu.

To end a slide show at any time
Press [Esc].
Click the Navigation button on the popup toolbar, and click End Show.
Right-click the screen, and click End Show on the shortcut menu.

To mark up a slide using the pen tool
Click a slide, and then click the Slide Show button.
Right-click anywhere on the screen, click Pointer Options on the shortcut menu, click Felt Tip Pen, and then make your mark.

Right-click anywhere on the screen, click Pointer Options, and then click Erase All Ink on Slide.

To change the color of the pen tool
On the popup toolbar, click the Pointer arrow, and then click Ink Color.
On the Ink Color palette, click any color box.

To deliver a slide show on one monitor and use Presenter view on another:
Open the PowerPoint presentation you want to set up.
On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
In the Set Up Show dialog box’s Multiple monitors area, click the down arrow to the right of the Display slide show on box, and click the name of the monitor you want to use to project the slide show.
Select the Show Presenter View check box, and click OK.
Click Slide Show button to start the slide show, using the navigation tools in Presenter view to deliver the presentation.

To change the order of slides in a list
Select a slide, and in the Define Custom Show dialog box click the up arrow or the down arrow to the right of the Slides in custom show box.

In Slide Sorter view, select a slide and then click the Hide Slide button on the Slide Sorter toolbar.

Click the Slide Sorter View button, and then click a slide.
On the Slide Show menu, click Slide Transition.
In the Advance slide area, select the Automatically after check box, and then click the up arrow twice to the timing you want.
Click Slide Show.
At the bottom of the Slide Transition task pane, click the Apply to All Slides button.

To set slide timings automatically while rehearsing your slide show
Click Slide 1, and then on the Slide Sorter toolbar, click the Rehearse Timings button.
Wait the length of time you want to spend on that slide, and then click the Next button.
Work your way slowly through the slide show, clicking Next to display each bullet point on each slide and then move to the next slide.
If you want to repeat the rehearsal for a particular slide, click the Repeat button on the Rehearsal toolbar to reset the Slide Time for that slide to 0.00.00.
Click Yes at the end of the slide show when the message box displays the elapsed time for the presentation and asks whether you want to apply the recorded slide timings.

To set up a self-running slide show
Open the presentation, and then on the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
In the Set Up Show dialog box’s Show type area, select the Browsed at a kiosk (full screen) option.
Click OK.
To test the show, move to Slide 1, and click the Slide Show button.
Press [Esc] to stop the slide show.
On the File menu, click Save As and navigate to the folder where you want to store the self-running presentation.
Click the down arrow to the right of the Save as type box, and click PowerPoint Show in the drop-down list.
In the File name box, assign a name to the self-running version of the show, and click Save.
