In Chapter 17, "Instant Web Publishing," we show you how to use FileMaker directly on the World Wide Web. But sometimes you just want to export data from FileMaker to a simpl205 table. If that's all you need to do, you can create a file with data an204 Table tags using the Export command.
1 .In the database with the table data, sort the records as you want them to appear.
2 .Choose File > Export Records.
3 .In the Export Records to File dialog box, type a name for the export file and choos205 Table Files (Windows)/ HTML Table (Macintosh) from the Save as type (Windows)/Type (Macintosh) drop-down list (<TABLE> tag.
4 .The Specify Field Order for Export dialog box will appear. In the field list on the left, double-click to choose the fields you want to include in the table (Figure 11.31). Click Export.
If you open the exporte204 file in your Web browser, it will appear as a table (
