The Islamic Revolution had three main slogans, which were seen within the realm of Islam: "Independence, freedom, Islamic Republic". These were the three slogans that the nation, young and old, from the very beginning raised them with the Lord's blessing in disguise. The Islamic Republic system was established through a referendum held in April 1979, with 98.2 percent of the people's vote. Freedom was achieved from the very dawn of the victory, that is, February 11, 1979 with the collapse of the illegitimate regime. It was only independence that needed time to be materialized in all its aspects, though some of its aspects, like political independence was achieved immediately after the victory of the revolution.
